Job Description

Primary duties and responsibilities
1. Manage requirements elicitation and adequately document system or solution requirements and project scope to ensure clarity for schedule and cost estimating, planning, and control purposes
2. Manage projects from initiation to closure using company-defined processes and PM tools to support the delivery of key systems and business solutions.
3. Understand and negotiate the needs and expectations of multiple stakeholders.
4. Collaborate closely with software development, quality assurance, and operations teams as well as 3rd party suppliers to implement system or business requirements ensuring that schedule, product, and quality requirements are met;
5. Gather and report detailed performance data against key indicators, to generate actionable improvements, decisions, and project success.
6. Contribute to the maturity of the company’s products by documenting and providing a heat map of product gaps or features identified
7. Identify risks and issues and promptly implement and/or recommend appropriate mitigants
8. Create & maintain up-to-date project documentation including designs, plans, process flows, scope, etc.
9. Facilitate project meetings and presentations to diverse audiences as may be required.
10. Carry out administrative tasks and reports as required on projects and for other internal stakeholders.

• Communication Skills: Communicates well one-on-one, in small groups, and public speaking. Keeps people informed. Writes clear, precise, well-organized documents using appropriate vocabulary, grammar, and word usage.
• Business Analysis – Identifies significant problems and opportunities. Analyzes problems and people in depth. Determines root causes and offers appropriate solutions. Generates sensible, realistic, and practical solutions to projects. Experience in Requirements elicitation, analysis, documentation and management, research, critical thinking, problem-solving, analysis and modelling techniques (e.g. business processes mapping and user stories), and technical specification documentation.
• Project Management – experience in Waterfall and Agile, project scoping, project planning, stakeholder management, performance monitoring, and control
• Soft Skills –high emotional intelligence, relationship management, ability to work with and coordinate teams
• Systems – good understanding of electronic payment products including web and mobile platforms, and system integration with 3rd party systems.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical/management course
• 0 to 3 years of business analysis, software system implementation, or IT project management experience. CCBA and/or CAPM Certification will be a significant advantage
